The 2nd Annual St. Joseph's Community BackPack Give-A-Way was a joint effort with the help of Mission 232 and Concerned Citizens of St. Joseph. This event was held in Franklin, Louisiana on July 23, 2016 at the St. Joseph Community Park.
362 BackPacks with supplies was given to the community at large at the event. After the event was over we were able to bless Chez Hope, Inc a domestic violence shelter in Franklin, La with 20 backpacks. 17 additional backpacks were donated to Agape Services a group home that services Franklin and New Orleans.
Sonia Inc. secured 508 backpacks for the St. Joseph Community BackPack Give-A-Way and was able to pass out 399 backpacks the day of the event. The remaining 109 backpacks will be given throughout the community as the school year starts based on need. #BuildAVillage
The St. Joseph community is the birth place of our founder Shaun Sonia.
